  • Use ice and heat to remedy the pain and soreness from grinding your teeth throughout the night.
  • Learn relaxation techniques. Because stress is the leading cause of Bruxism; it would be helpful to practice meditation or yoga to help combat that stress.
  • Avoid chewy foods like steak and chewing gum.
  • Work on improving your posture. Bad posture is known to also have an effect on your jaw and Bruxism.
  • Stay hydrated, muscles tend to cramp up when they’re deprived of water. Make sure you drink enough water throughout the day.
